From its advanced safety functions to its powerful performance, there’s so much to love about theĀ 2024 Chevy Colorado! If you’re interested in the new Colorado, check out this complete buyer’s guide from our dealership.

Performance

The standard engine on the Colorado is a 2.7L Turbo engine, supplying 237 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 1200 to 4000 rpm. For optimal performance, the 2.7L engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Higher Colorado trims come with a TurboMax engine that’s also paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This combo delivers increased intensity with 310 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 430 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm.

Capabilities

The Colorado comes with Hitch View: a function designed to streamline the towing process. Hitch View gives drivers an up-close view of their trailer hitch, making it easier to align a trailer with the hitch quickly and efficiently. Hitch View also allows you to check on your trailer hitch while driving.

The Colorado’s WT base trim comes with 17-inch all-season blackwall tires that are built to take on most terrains. These tires are paired with ultra-silver metallic steel wheels for an eye-catching appearance. Higher trims of the Colorado like the ZR2 come with a range of features that enhance your truck’s capabilities, including off-road rocker protectors and a StowFlex tailgate with a built-in storage compartment.

Technology

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado comes with an 11.3-inch color LCD display that includes Google built-in. This offers a wide variety of entertainment and resource tools, including connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With the use of Bluetooth audio streaming, you can access many of its features through voice controls.

The Google built-in feature provides access to many of your favorite Google applications. Use Maps to get live GPS navigation or send emails with the Gmail function. You can also use Google Assistant to schedule appointments or check your calendar.

Safety

Chevy Safety Assist is an important part of the Colorado’s safety system, offering a series of assistive driving functions that can reduce your risk of accidents. This includes:

  • Forward Collision Alert
  • Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking
  • Following Distance Indicator
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • IntelliBeam
  • Forward Collision Alert

StabiliTrak, Teen Driver, Rear Seat Reminder, and Buckle to Drive are all additional safety features you’ll find in the new Colorado.
