I called in the morning regarding a check engine light that came on my vehicle. They had me come in that afternoon to check it out and were able to fix it at that time.

Voluntary, honest, courteous, willing to answer questions. An excellent way to do business.

On Thursday, 23 January, I stopped in Matt Lafontaine to look at making a deal on a new truck, that is when I met Harper rifling the sales person at the dealership told her what I was looking for and what kind of deal I wanted and within an hour, she had a deal I needed to make me lease the truck!! you have a great staff there I highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a great experience and for a follow up footnote I became aware three days later that Haley had sold my sister and brother-in-law their new truck. They had a great experience too, so thank you again.😁😁😁

work was done on time when I was scheduled -- in addition to the oil change, I needed a new air filter, and the service staff showed me the old filter first and asked my permission to replace it before they did, which I appreciate

My service advisor was very nice. She provided an estimate for four new tires as my tires need replacing.

One of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. Very efficient use of my time which is important because I don't have much. We worked out all the details by phone and text, I signed the paperwork virtually, and we completed the transaction in 10 minutes when I got there... which left me a little time to spend learning some of the features of my new truck... We'll be back!

We went in for an oil change and also when I made the appointment my check engine light was on. By the time we got to the dealership the light was off. The ran a diagnostic and found that the everything was ok with the truck. Said if the light came back on to stop back in and they would check it out.

One signature needed to fill out all the paperwork. So I was able to get through the paperwork and pick up the car in less than an hour.

I would have liked to have heard from the service desk when the time stated for the repair had passed. I called to find out how the repair was going finding it wasn't done yet. Things worked out fine and I had my vehicle back by the end of the day. A little better communication about how long the repair will take would be great. But to their credit, they did very well in finishing the job and getting my vehicle back to me.

She should get a raise because the other people I’ve dealt with at that position really didn’t do too hot Also, Justin McDade the service advisor the time before I dealt with him and he was also awesome! If it were not for Justin McDade, I would’ve never gone back to this dealership because five years of going there my front drive unit and my rear drive unit were never serviced and so he took care of me on the spot. I was on my way out. So because of these two people, I am a returning customer and just spent $1400 there yesterday

Despite having multiple dealerships near my home, I will only use Matt Lafontaine in Grayling (located 3 hours from my home) because of the excellent service compared to all the other dealerships I've used in the past. They make everything easy and they support you 100% if there are any problems with the vehicle. I highly recommend them.

Beautiful dealership , very clean but said they checked everything after my car had been throwing sensor lights for weeks and 2 minutes down the road when we left they all popped back on so simply clearing the codes it was throwing did nothing. Still can't use Cruise control .

I have been very happy with the staff at the dealership and with the timely manner in which they do things. I however am quite frustrated that I have received little to no answers on why not only my first brand new car but now my second brand new car is having the problems that it is having. I know it’s just as frustrating to the dealership as it is me, but I feel as though there has been little efforts to help find/fix the problem. I also feel there has been no effort to educate me on what is going wrong with my car. Everything I have discovered has been from my own efforts. Each time I bring it in they always clear the code and then let me leave with little findings and we wait for it to come on again and again. These experiences have left me doubting Chevy products and does not make me want to recommend buying them to others.

I checked my oil as per the owners manual after it was changed by the dealership....It showed an over full condition...the manual indicates this is not acceptable and could cause damage to the engine..I returned to the dealership and spoke to the service manager and provided him with a photo of the dipstick that morning...he checked the oil ...said it was fine..and was emphatic that the correct amount was put in and stated he witnessed the filling ..so im confused as how to detect when to add oil and how much should it be necessary...is the manual,dealership,or dipstick incorrect

Had a catastrophic issue with my previous vehicle and was curious about leasing a vehicle. Ms. Haelee Riegling helped me look into the leasing program while she was attending to other customers. The sales manager (i completely forgot his name🤦) both were polite, on point, and made me feel relaxed and welcomed. In the end they made sure I got out of the bad vehicle I was in and into a vehicle that I can trust. I appreciate the sales staff and the service staff as well.

It was truly a pleasure meeting and dealing with Haelee Riegling and having her as a salesperson. She was quick to respond to questions and to get any answers to questions I asked. So on the Sales end of this experience everything was and is good and we are completely happy with the experience and we love the truck. After initially meeting her a couple of months earlier I decided she was who I wanted to help me with this process even though I have a Dealership less than a mile from our home and I had already shopped at a couple of other Dealerships she made a lasting impression. However I only gave you 4 stars because once we had the truck home I discovered that in the process of the vehicle being detailed the product used for the wet tire look had been oversprayed onto the Plastic Trim ( Fender Flares and other areas ). I made Haelee aware of it right away and she offered to have me bring it back in and it would be taken care of and if we were right down the street I may have taken her up on it. But since we live in Kalkaska and not Grayling I decided to handle it myself. Later I discovered the same splatter spots on the actual Paint in various areas. I also am rather disappointed in GM's choice to no longer include the owners manual with vehicles which I only found out after making the purchase. There are a lot of features on these new vehicles that take a little figuring out and we are no longer in the age of everything being an obvious button or dial with an obvious use and every feature is not plainly in sight like the vehicles of yesteryear. Even though I have always preferred GM products I may have chosen a different brand had I known that I will have to pay upwards if 100.00 to get an Owners Manual that should be included with the vehicle. Shame on you General Motors for saving a few dollars while raking in Thousands of dollars per vehicle. A customer happy with my vehicle but a bit disappointed in the Detail Shop and with Genral Motors.

Excellent experience with the service department at Matt LaFontaine Automotive located in Grayling. Justin was able to get me in on very short notice Friday morning and have a diesel tech take a look at a fuel leak on my truck later that afternoon. Turns out both of the flex lines were chewed. Deano, also an awesome guy, gave me a ride back to my campground north of town. He offered to take me into town if I needed anything. Two fuel lines were ordered and delivered the next day. Justin was able to provide a loaner vehicle later on when one became available. My truck was back together Monday later morning. I had an excellent experience with everyone I came across in the service area. To everyone who helped me in a bind on my camping trip, Thank you so much! You went above and beyond many other dealerships I have worked with. I greatly appreciate all of you and all the help you provided me.

We took our 2018 Chevy Colorado in for service locally to Matt LaFontaine Automotive for service work. While the staff was polite and service completed I was very disappointed. The truck was shuddering so we wanted that checked out. It needed to have the torque converter changed. Was quoted around $1200.00 for part but $3500.00 for labor. While the staff was polite and service completed I was very disappointed. After doing research and finding out that this is a common frequent issue with 2018 Chevy Colorado I feel the dealership should have given us some goodwill and not charged the full $3500 for labor. I understand our truck was not under warranty but this being a frequent common problem with these vehicles I feel they should not have charged that much for labor. I believe in supporting local businesses for quality service but this experience makes me much more cautious about using this Matt LaFontaine's service department for any future work.

You folks did another great job finding the issue, having the parts and fixed the problem in short order. Thanks again for a great job and superb customer service!

Very nice service personnel. Had a 60,000 mile checkup with fuel filter changed. Good news is there was no issues with our truck. Bad news is they forgot to change the fuel filter. They immediately remedied this and within 20 minutes we were on the road.

My salesman was on a family problem when we stopped I to look and I thought I would wait but was helped by another employee to start the process two days later after getting the truck I wanted from the UP I drove away with a beautiful truck that I wanted. This was the best car buying experience of our lives. Ben found the vehicle we wanted at another dealership and brought it in. We took it for a test drive, he gave us a very reasonable price and then he took our information and worked with Sarah in Finance to get us an excellent rate on our loan. After that (1 hour total) he told us to go about our day and we scheduled to come back to the dealership at 4:00pm. In the interim, Ben called our insurance agent, had the car added to our insurance and got proof of insurance and registration for the vehicle. He also got the new car linked to our existing OnStar account. Sarah completed all the sales paperwork. When we came back at 4:00pm, the vehicle was detailed and ready to go. Ben walked my wife through the various features while I worked with Sarah to sign the paperwork. Sarah laid out the various extended warranty options plainly and transparently, with zero sales pressure and sent me home with copies of the signed paperwork (which she also explained clearly item by item as I signed). We left with our vehicle at 4:45pm - a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes at the dealership. Ben and Sarah could not have been nicer or more professional. Again, an extraordinary car buying experience.

This experience was much better than the last one I had. The last one took 2 hours longer than I was told because I was told that they had a back-up and that is why it took so long to complete my job. This time the timing was much better, only off by a few minutes.

many dealers kinda blow you off if they can't replicate a problem... which is really irritating for a customer. Not these guys... they really worked the problem and were eventually able to replicate and fix. Completely different experience than I've had at other dealers. And the communication was exceptional - almost daily updates on status. Really great team to work with!

I went to the dealership Monday morning with no appointment. I had an issue Sunday with having to jump-start my vehicle to start it. Lauren met me and told me she would take care of things, and she did!! She called me within 30 minutes letting me know that I needed a new battery. It was ready later in the morning. Very pleased.

They always give us such great service since we bought our 2023 Equinox. When we schedule our service... they ALWAYS are prompt and thorough with care of our car and whatever they need.

We went in for an oil change and to have the tire sensor checked. After they were checked found out they had to be replaced. They had taken the time to see if they were covered on our warranty, however it wasn't. They did apply a coupon credit which helped.
