One of the most impactful ways we give back is by investing in the next generation of automotive professionals. Matt and Christine LaFontaine pledged $50,000 to establish the Matt LaFontaine Automotive Endowed Scholarship at Kirtland Community College. This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in automotive technology, helping remove financial barriers and open doors to hands-on training in a high-demand field that is essential to Michigan’s economy.

In recognition of this commitment, Kirtland Community College unveiled the Matt LaFontaine Automotive Technology Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to prepare students for careers in automotive service and repair. By supporting education at this level, we are helping ensure that the future of the automotive industry in northern Michigan remains skilled, innovative, and strong.

Industry Leadership That Strengthens Communities

Community involvement also means stepping up to lead beyond our dealership walls. Matt LaFontaine serves on the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) Board as South District Director. In this role, he collaborates with dealers across the state to promote best practices, elevate industry standards, and advocate for policies that benefit local businesses and the communities they serve. By supporting a healthy and responsible automotive industry, we’re contributing to economic growth and stability throughout Michigan.

Supporting Local Nonprofits & Animal Welfare
