It’s time to go electric without compromising on power, performance, or comfort with the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV. We look at the three configurations that are helping drivers tailor this affordable compact SUV to their needs and preferences.
1. LT 1
First up is the LT 1, an extremely efficient two-row SUV with a front-wheel drive propulsion system that will transport you 319 miles on a single charge. Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving are both standard to help maximize mileage.
Design Highlights
The Equinox EV is the perfect blend of style and functionality, with the LT 1 boasting LED headlights, 19-inch aluminum wheels, LED taillights, and dark-tinted windows at the rear. Chevy even installs recovery hooks at the front and rear to help you extract your SUV from tricky situations when you head off-road.
Inside, the comfy bucket seats installed at the front are adjustable in six ways. Infotainment comes courtesy of a large 17.7-inch touchscreen mounted on the dashboard, with integrated navigation, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and built-in Google.
Safety Features
Drivers can choose how they view information on the 11-inch color instrument display by picking one of five different layouts. Every Equinox EV, including the LT 1, comes with more than 15 safety and driver-assist features as standard, including adaptive cruise control, blind-zone steering assist, following distance indicator, and side cyclist alert. There’s also a windshield alert system that flashes a warning on the windshield if it detects a potential collision.
2. LT 2
Building on the LT 1, the LT 2 introduces more creature comforts, such as power windows, an LED light bar at the front, and roof rails. A power liftgate makes it easier to access the trunk, and a memory feature allows you to program it to open at the optimum height.
Evotex leatherette now lines the plush interior, including the driver’s heated eight-way adjustable power seat with its two-way lumbar support. Drivers can also heat the steering wheel. Attaching a trailer is made easier with hitch guidance and hitch view. Chevy also equips the LT 2 with its Active Safety Package, which includes a surround-view camera, enhanced emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition.
3. RS
Last is the RS, which retains the comfort upgrades of the LT 2 and gets a sporty makeover. The front paneling at the front is now black, as are the 21-inch wheels, heated mirrors, roof rails, and emblems. Even the interior feels sportier, thanks to the wrapped and heated flat-bottomed steering wheel.
