The 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD is the most powerful pickup on the market, delivering maximum towing capacity and enhanced capabilities that make it perfect for any job.
Engine Options
Your 2025 Silverado 3500 delivers intense power thanks to a 6.6L V8 gas engine. This engine yields 401 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm.
If you need something even more powerful, you can upgrade to the available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. This engine boosts your truck’s towing capacity to 36,000 pounds and produces 470 horsepower at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm.
Exterior Features
The 3500 is the largest truck in the Silverado lineup, with a massive body that commands every road it takes. The CornerStep rear bumper provides increased traction as you climb into the truck bed, with hollow spaces on each corner. The steel Durabed’s high-strength steel is ready to haul any kind of cargo, and there are a dozen cargo tie-downs that are rated at 500 pounds per corner to secure the heaviest items.
On the Silverado base trim, there are black beltline moldings, black bumpers, and a locking tailgate. Higher Silverado 3500 trims have a tailgate with EZ Lift, power, and assist to make it easier than ever to load and unload cargo items.
Interior Features
The Silverado 3500 has 6-passenger seating that includes a 40/20/40 split front bench and a 60/40 split rear bench. Underneath the front bench, there’s a small storage compartment for your extra tools, a spare change of clothes, or any other essential items you need to have on hand. The seat bottoms on the rear bench can be folded upwards to give you more cargo room on the truck’s floor.
Notable interior features in the Silverado 3500 include a manual tilt steering column, power windows, and a 3.5-inch monochromatic driver information center. Cruise control maintains a pre-selected speed as you drive, while single-zone climate control maintains your desired temperature throughout the cabin.
Tech Functions
The new Chevy Silverado 3500 has a 7-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Connect your phone to the truck through the corresponding system to experience a range of convenient functions, like hands-free phone calling, texting, and voice messaging.
Safety Elements
The Silverado 3500 HD has a vast safety network that includes OnStar Basics. OnStar Basics offers a variety of safety functions through your Silverado’s infotainment system, including Automatic Crash Response. Other safety features in the 3500 include StabiliTrak electronic stability control, Hitch Guidance, Following Distance Indicator, and Lane Departure Warning.
