What makes the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 a perfect pickup truck? Take a look at these five great reasons drivers love the new Silverado 1500 available at our dealership!
1. High-Powered Engine Options
There are four powerful engine options for the Silverado 1500, including a TurboMax engine that comes standard on all trims. The TurboMax is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission to provide 310 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 430 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm.
Additional engine options include a 5.3L V8, a 6.2L V8, and a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The Duramax engine offers the most impressive performance, yielding 305 horsepower at 3750 rpm and 495 lb.-ft. of torque at 2750 rpm.
2. Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System
Every 2025 Silverado 1500 comes with a Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system to keep you entertained and provide helpful resources. Your Silverado’s infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, which uses Bluetooth technology to connect your phone to the truck without any wires. With the voice command pass-through function, you can then make and receive phone calls or send text messages without taking your hands off the wheel.
The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system also comes with OnStar Basics safety resources. OnStar Basics has helpful tools like Automatic Crash Response, which provides immediate relief after an accident by connecting you with an OnStar advisor who can assist you in real time.
3. Chevy Safety Assist
There’s no shortage of safety features in the new Silverado 1500, but the standout function of the truck’s safety network is the Chevy Safety Assist package. Chevy Safety Assist contains a variety of different driver-assistance functions, each meant to alert you to possible hazards on the road or take corrective action when there’s an impending collision. The Chevy Safety Assist package includes Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and more.
4. Efficient Exterior Features
The Chevy Silverado lineup is known for its convenient exterior features, like the CornerStep rear bumper and high-strength Durabed. The CornerStep rear bumper has textured foot inserts on each corner to give you more stability when climbing into the Durabed, which is made from roll-formed steel that can stand up to all kinds of cargo. Other Silverado 1500 exterior features include cargo area lamps, twelve cargo tie-downs, and all-season blackwall tires.
5. Multiple Storage Areas
While the Silverado’s Durabed cargo box provides plenty of exterior storage space, there’s additional cargo room inside your truck! Under the front bench seat, there’s a hidden storage compartment for items like work tools, first aid kits, or a spare pair of boots. When you lift the seat bottoms on the rear bench, you create another storage area on the Silverado’s floor.
